Product Update Description

The following issues are resolved: 1) An issue that may occur when approving a 'Progress Note' to-do for an 'Existing Appointment' with a practitioner program restriction where the to-do is unable to be addressed. 2) An issue in the 'Coming In Today' widget that may incorrectly display the message 'No Appointment Found'.

Scenario 1: 'Coming in Today' widget - workflow
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Coming in Today' widget must be visible on the HomeView.
  • A client must be enrolled with an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  2. Right click in any available time slot and click [Add Appointment].
  3. Enter the desired value in the 'Service Code' field.
  4. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  5. Select the desired episode in the 'Episode Number' field.
  6. Select the desired value in the 'Program' field.
  7. Click [Submit].
  8. Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the appointment created in the previous steps.
  9. Click [Dismiss].
  10. Access the 'Coming In Today' widget.
  11. Validate the appointment for "Client A" is displayed.
  12. Click [Not Present].
  13. Validate a message is displayed stating: Change status to "Checked In"? This action cannot be undone.
  14. Click [Yes].
  15. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  16. Validate the appointment for "Client A" has been checked in.
  17. Click [Dismiss].
  18. Access the 'Coming In Today' widget.
  19. Click [Currently Checked In].
  20. Validate a message is displayed stating: Change status to "Currently in Treatment"? This action cannot be undone.
  21. Click [Yes].

'Progress Note' To-Do's
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Admission (Outpatient)
  • Practitioner Enrollment
  • Progress Notes (Group and Individual)
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Ambulatory Progress Notes
  • Admission
Scenario 1: Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - Validate the ability to approve To-Dos when a practitioner no longer has access to the program of service
Specific Setup:
  • The Registry setting 'Avatar PM->Services->Ancillary/Ambulatory Services->All Client Charge Input Options->->Restrict Practitioner Search By Program' must be enabled.
  • The Registry setting 'Avatar CWS->Progress Notes->Progress Notes (Group and Individual)>>->Post Appointment When the Note Is Submitted' must be enabled.
  • Document Routing must be enabled on the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  • A practitioner is defined (Practitioner A) that is associated to the logged in user (User A).
  • A program is defined in 'Program Maintenance' (Program A).
  • A client is admitted into "Program A" (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Practitioner Enrollment form' for "Practitioner A".
  2. Select "Program A" in the 'Program Association' field.
  3. Submit the form.
  4. Access 'Scheduling Calendar' form
  5. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' of the' Practitioner A' and click [Add Appointment].
  6. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  7. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  8. Select the desired value in the 'Episode Number' field.
  9. Select "Program A" in the 'Program' field.
  10. Populate any other required and desired fields.
  11. Click [Submit].
  12. Right click on the appointment created in the previous steps.
  13. Click [Check In].
  14. Validate the 'Services To Check-In' field contains the correct service for the scheduled appointment selected.
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Verify that "Client A's" appointment displays the disposition icon: green check indicating the appointment has been checked in.
  17. Click [Dismiss].
  18. Access 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  19. Select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  20. Select "Existing Appointment" in the 'Progress Note For' field.
  21. Select the appointment scheduled in the previous steps in the 'Note Addresses Which Existing Service/Appointment' field.
  22. Select the desired value in the 'Note Type' field.
  23. Enter the desired value in the 'Notes Field'.
  24. Populate any other required and desired fields.
  25. Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  26. Click [File Note].
  27. Validate a 'Confirm Document' dialog is displayed with the note details.
  28. Click [Accept and Route].
  29. Enter the password for the logged in user in the 'Verify Password' field.
  30. Select "Practitioner A" as an approver and click [Submit].
  31. Validate a message is displayed stating: Note Filed. Do you want to return to the Progress Notes form?
  32. Click [No].
  33. Access the 'Practitioner Enrollment form' for "Practitioner A".
  34. De-select "Program A" in the 'Program Association' field.
  35. Submit the form.
  36. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  37. Validate a To-Do is displayed for "Client A".
  38. Accept and sign off on the To-Do.
