Product Update Description

An issue is resolved where the 'Scheduling Calendar - Status Update' form may not send the CareFabric messages when the client has missed appointments which correspond to the pattern defined in the 'Maximum Missed Appointment Notification Pattern' registry setting.

Scheduling Calendar - Missed Visits
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • CareFabric Monitor
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Scheduling Calendar - Status Update
Scenario 1: Scheduling Calendar - Validate the 'Maximum Missed Appointment Notification Pattern' registry setting
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Maximum Missed Appointment Notification Pattern' registry setting must be set to "30/2".
  • CareGuidance alerts must be enabled.
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • A practitioner is defined with hours for scheduling (Practitioner A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  2. Select a past date within the last 30 days.
  3. Right click in any available time slot for "Practitioner A" and click [Add Appointment].
  4. Populate all required fields for an appointment for "Client A".
  5. Click [Submit].
  6. Validate the appointment is displayed.
  7. Right click on the appointment and click [Status Update].
  8. Select "Yes" in the 'Missed Visit' field.
  9. Select the desired value in the 'Missed Visit Service Code' field.
  10. Enter the desired value in the 'Missed Visit Notes' field.
  11. Click [Submit] and [Dismiss].
  12. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  13. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  14. Select "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  15. Click [View Activity Log].
  16. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains an "AppointmentUpdated" record.
  17. Click [Click To View Record].
  18. Validate the 'statusCode' - 'type' field contains "Disposition".
  19. Validate the 'statusCode' - 'value' field contains "MISSED".
  20. Close the report and the form.
  21. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  22. Select the current date.
  23. Right click in any available time slot for "Practitioner A" and click [Add Appointment].
  24. Populate all required fields for an appointment for "Client A".
  25. Click [Submit].
  26. Validate the appointment is displayed.
  27. Right click on the appointment and click [Status Update].
  28. Select "Yes" in the 'Missed Visit' field.
  29. Select the desired value in the 'Missed Visit Service Code' field.
  30. Enter the desired value in the 'Missed Visit Notes' field.
  31. Click [Submit] and [Dismiss].
  32. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  33. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  34. Select "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  35. Click [View Activity Log].
  36. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains an "AppointmentUpdated" record for the second appointment.
  37. Click [Click To View Record].
  38. Validate the 'statusCode' - 'type' field contains "Disposition".
  39. Validate the 'statusCode' - 'value' field contains "MISSED".
  40. Close the report and the form.
  41. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  42. Validate there is a 'CareGuidance Alert' for "Client A" that states: Client missed 2 appointments.
  43. Click [Acknowledge].
  44. Validate the 'CareGuidance Alert' is no longer displayed.
