Product Update Description

The following changes are made to the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' and 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widgets: 1) Support is added for the registry setting 'Sort Episodes by Admission Date'. 2) The error 'An error has occurred while processing your request' that may occur when refreshing the widget is resolved. 3) The 'Undock Widget' button is removed from the widgets.

The 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' and 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widgets are updated to support the 'Sort Episodes by Admission Date' registry setting.
In addition, the 'Undock Widget' button is removed from the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' and 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widgets.

Waiting Room - Support for the 'Sort Episodes by Admission Date' registry setting
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room
Scenario 1: Waiting Room - Validate the 'Sort Episodes by Admission Date' registry setting
Specific Setup:
  • Please note: this is for Avatar NX systems only.
  • The 'Enable Clinic Scheduling' registry setting must be set to "Y".
  • The 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget must be accessible on the user's myDay view.
  • A site is defined with time slots for clinic hours in 'Site Registration' (Site A).
  • A staff member is defined with hours for scheduling at "Site A" (Staff Member A).
  • A client is enrolled in multiple episodes (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  2. Enter "Sort Episodes By Admission Date" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  3. Click [View Registry Settings].
  4. Select "Sort Episodes by Admission Date" and click [OK].
  5. Validate the 'Registry Setting' field contains: RADplus->Database Management->Episode Predisplay->->->Sort Episodes by Admission Date.
  6. Enter "Y" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
  7. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  8. Navigate to the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget.
  9. Select "Site A" in the 'Waiting Room Site' field.
  10. Select the desired value in the 'Time Slot' field.
  11. Select "Client A" in the 'Add Client' field.
  12. Validate the 'Select Episode' field displays the episodes sorted by admission date in descending order.
  13. Select the desired episode in the 'Select Episode' field.
  14. Validate the 'Service Program' field populates accordingly.
  15. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  16. Populate any other desired fields.
  17. Click [Add to Waitlist] and [OK].
  18. Validate the client is added to the Waitlist.
Scenario 2: Waiting Room - Validate the 'Walk-In Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget
Specific Setup:
  • Please note: this is for Avatar NX systems only.
  • The 'Enable Clinic Scheduling' registry setting must be set to "Y".
  • The 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget must be accessible on the user's myDay view.
  • A site is defined with time slots for clinic hours in 'Site Registration' (Site A), (Time Slot A).
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget.
  2. Validate a "Undock Widget" button is not displayed.
  3. Validate the 'Select Waiting Room/Site and Time Slot' field label is displayed.
  4. Validate the 'Waiting Room/Site' field is displayed. This field will contain all sites configured with time slots for clinic hours.
  5. Validate the 'Time Slot' field is displayed. This field will contain all time slots defined for the selected site on the given day.
  6. Validate the 'Add To Waitlist' field label is displayed.
  7. Validate the 'Add Client' field is displayed.
  8. Validate the 'Select Episode' field is displayed.
  9. Validate the 'Select Program' field is displayed.
  10. Validate the 'Location' field is displayed.
  11. Validate the 'Req. Pract. Type' field is displayed.
  12. Validate the 'Req. Pract. Gender' field is displayed.
  13. Validate the 'Req. Practitioner' field is displayed.
  14. Validate the 'Phone-In/Expected' field is displayed.

  42. Click [Add To Waitlist].
  43. Validate a message is displayed stating: Saved.
  44. Click [OK].
  45. Validate "Client A" is now displayed on the Waitlist and has moved to the top since they were marked as a priority. Note: if no other clients are marked as a priority, this client will be moved first. If there are other clients who were marked priority previously, this client will come after the existing priority clients.
  46. Validate the 'Type' field contains a red exclamation mark icon indicating this is a priority client.
  47. Validate all other populated data displays as expected.
Scenario 3: Waiting Room - Validate the Staff View 'Walk-In Clinic/Waiting Room' widget
Specific Setup:
  • Please note: this is for Avatar NX systems only.
  • The 'Enable Clinic Scheduling' registry setting must be set to "Y".
  • The 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' and 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widgets must be accessible on the user's myDay view.
  • A site is defined with time slots for clinic hours in 'Site Registration' (Site A), (Time Slot A).
  • Staff members are defined with hours for scheduling at "Site A".
  • Two clients are enrolled in existing episodes (Client A & Client B).
Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget.
  2. Select "Site A" in the 'Waiting Room/Site' field.
  3. Select "Client A" in the 'Add Client' field.
  4. Validate the 'Select Episode' and 'Service Program' populate with the existing episode information.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  6. Select "Yes" in the 'Priority' field.
  7. Click [Add to Waitlist] and [OK].
  8. Validate the client is added to the Waitlist.
  9. Select "Client B" in the 'Add Client' field.
  10. Validate the 'Select Episode' and 'Service Program' populate with the existing episode information.
  11. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  12. Select "No" in the 'Priority' field.
  13. Click [Add to Waitlist] and [OK].
  14. Validate the client is added to the Waitlist.
  15. Validate the Waitlist displays the clients in the following order:
  16. Client A - marked priority
  17. Client B - not marked priority
  18. Navigate to the Staff View 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widget.

  37. Validate the 'Action' field contains only "Add to Calendar" and "Add+In Treatment".
  38. Select "Add to Calendar" in the 'Action' field for "Client A".
  39. Validate the 'Scheduling Calendar - Appointment Details' form is displayed.
  40. Select the practitioner associated to the logged in user in the 'Practitioner' field.
  41. Populate all required and desired fields for the appointment and click [Submit].
  42. Validate the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget is now displayed.
  43. Validate the 'Type' field is now displayed with a red calendar icon, indicating "Client A" has a scheduled appointment that has been marked priority.
  44. Select "Add to Calendar" in the 'Action' field for "Client B".
  45. Validate the 'Scheduling Calendar - Appointment Details' form is displayed.
  46. Select a practitioner not associated to the logged in user in the 'Practitioner' field.
  47. Populate all required and desired fields for the appointment and click [Submit].
  48. Validate the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget is now displayed.
  49. Validate the 'Type' field is now displayed with a calendar icon, indicating "Client B" has a scheduled appointment that has been marked priority.
  50. Validate the 'Action' field contains only "In Treatment" since appointments have been scheduled.
  51. Click "Yes" in the 'My Appointments' field.
  52. Validate only "Client A" is now displayed in the Waitlist.
  53. De-select "Yes" in the 'My Appointments' field.
  54. Validate both "Client A" and "Client B" are now displayed.
  55. Select "In Treatment" in the 'Action' field for "Client A".
  56. Validate a message is displayed stating: You are changing the status to In Treatment. Please Confirm.
  57. Click [Yes].
  58. Validate "Client A" is no longer displayed on the Waitlist.
  59. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  60. Validate the appointment for "Client A" is displayed and is checked in.
  61. Click [Dismiss].

  4. Validate the 'Select Episode' and 'Service Program' populate with the existing episode information.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  6. Click [Add to Waitlist] and [OK].
  7. Validate the client is added to the Waitlist.
  8. Validate the 'Action' field contains "In Treatment". This will remove the client from the Waitlist and not require the creation of an appointment.
  9. Select "In Treatment" in the 'Action' field.
  10. Validate a message is displayed stating: You are changing the status to In Treatment. Please confirm.
  11. Click [Yes].
  12. Validate the client is no longer displayed on the Waitlist.
  13. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL Reporting Tool.
  14. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.AppointmentWaitingRoom' SQL table.
  15. Navigate to the row for "Client A".
  16. Validate the 'status_code' field contains "03".
  17. Validate the 'status_value' field contains "In Treatment".
  18. Navigate to the 'Walk-in Clinic Registration/Waiting Room' widget.
  19. Select "Site A" in the 'Waiting Room Site' field.
  20. Select "Client B" in the 'Add Client' field.
  21. Validate the 'Select Episode' and 'Service Program' populate with the existing episode information.
  22. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  23. Click [Add to Waitlist] and [OK].
  24. Validate the client is added to the Waitlist.
  25. Navigate to the 'Walk-in Clinic/Waiting Room' widget.
  26. Select "Site A" in the 'Waiting Room/Site' field.
  27. Validate "Client B" is displayed on the Waitlist.
  28. Validate the 'Action' field contains "In Treatment". This gives the practitioner the ability to remove the client from the Waitlist for treatment and not require the creation of an appointment.
  29. Select "In Treatment" in the 'Action' field.
  30. Validate a message is displayed stating: You are changing the status to In Treatment. Please confirm.
  31. Click [Yes].
  32. Validate the client is no longer displayed on the Waitlist.
  33. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL Reporting Tool.
  34. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.AppointmentWaitingRoom' SQL table.
  35. Navigate to the row for "Client B".
  36. Validate the 'status_code' field contains "03".
