myAvatar navigation shortcuts

You can use myAvatar with just your keyboard. You don’t need to use your mouse. You can press the Alt key to see letters and numbers on the screen. They show you what you can do with your keyboard:

For example, if you press the Alt key, you can see different options like Lock, Sign Out, and Help. You can also see different parts of myAvatar like consoles, forms, clients, and widgets.
If you want to choose an option or a part of myAvatar, you can press the letter or number that matches it. Then you can see a list of things like clients, forms, or tasks.

You can use the arrow keys to move up and down the list. You can press the Enter key to pick something from the list.

Hot keys are also available in Chart View, which allow you to navigate the Chart View like the Home View.

Additional Navigation Using Function and Control Keys

You can do more things with myAvatar by using your keyboard. You can use two special keys: Fn and Ctrl. They can help you with spelling, editing, clearing, and more.

For example, if you want to check your spelling, you can press Fn and F7 together. If you want to edit your text, you can press Ctrl and E together. If you want to clear a field, you can press Ctrl and D together.

Ctrl+A	Select All	Must have cursor on a multi-select dictionary (scrolling list box and check boxes).
Ctrl+D	Deselect all	Must have cursor on a multi-select dictionary (scrolling list box and check boxes).
Alt+H	Return Home	Works anywhere in myAvatar.
Alt+A	Search	Works anywhere in myAvatar.
