Care Manager's Closed Authorizations

Generate a report listing closed service authorizations when the authorization end date has passed and the remaining service authorization liability is zero.

Prerequisites:


  1. Go to: Avatar MSO > Care Management Reports > Care Manager's Closed Authorizations
  2. In the Select Individual Or All Care Managers field:
    • Select a care manager.
      or
    • Select All to generate a report for all care managers.
  3. In the Select Authorization Effective Date field, enter the report date.
    Note: Service authorizations closed as of this date are included in this report.
  4. Select OK.
    Result: The report details authorization information, and the following:
    • Authorized Codes - CPT or revenue code. (C - CPT, R - Revenue) followed by the code.
    • Authorized Units - number of authorized service units.
    • Estimated Liability - entered in the Service Authorization form.
    • Remaining Liability - estimated liability minus the billed amount (Claims Processing form).
    • Total Est. Liability - total estimated liability.
    • Total Rem. Liability - total remaining liability.
