How to view discharge/leave patients in eMAR

Once a patient has been discharged from eMAR it is still possible to view the patient's orders and administrations. This also applies to patients who are on leave or patients who currently do not have a bed assignment.

To see a patient who has been discharged from an episode or who is currently on Leave follow these steps:

  1. Open myAvatar eMAR.
  2. Change the Administration Date to a date when the patient was active on the episode or when the order you are looking for was active.
  3. Place the cursor in the Unit field and press F5 to clear the currently selected unit.
    Note: This will make it take longer to populate the list of patients since it will make eMAR try to load all orders that were active on the specified administration date.
  4. Select the client from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select the desired episode.
  6. Once the episode has been selected you should be able to see all orders for the client that were active on the specified date.
