Hours of Administration section

Record the hours of administration for a medication order on the Administration Event dialog.

  • An Hours of Administration section is available if the Allow Edit Hours of Administration registry setting is set to 'Y'. 
  • The Require Hours of Administration for Routine Orders extended attribute of the Order Types dictionary in myAvatar Order Entry affects the hours of administration for routine orders in myAvatar eMAR. (This functionality is only available when myAvatar Order Entry 2011 Enhancement 016 or equivalent is installed.)
    • '0' - does not enforce rules on the hours of administration for routine orders for the particular order type
    • '1' - requires at least one hour of administration be selected for routine orders for the particular order type
    • '2' - requires at least one hour of administration be selected for routine orders for the particular order type, and that the number of selections matches the Times/24 hours designated for the order
