Rapid Test - STD module

In the STD module, the Rapid Test form is where you record information about the patient's expedited HIV test.

On the main menu navigate to HIV > Rapid Test.

Record test initiation and completion information

  1. The OAIDS Specimen Number that appears at the top of the form is the OAIDS HIV Test Number entered on the Pre-Test.
  2. In the Test Initiation panel, complete the following items.
    1. In the Test Initiated By box, click the arrow and select the staff member.
    2. For the HIV Test Initiated, click the arrow in each box to select the hour, minute, and AM/PM, or click the clock icon  to select the current time. To clear the boxes and select a different time, click the X icon .   
    3. In the Temperature at Test Initiation box, enter the patient's temperature.
  3. In the Test Completion panel, complete the following items.
    1. In the Result box, click the arrow and select the type of test result.
    2. For the HIV Test Completed Time, click the arrow in each box to select the hour, minute, and AM/PM, or click the clock icon  to select the current time. To clear the boxes and select a different time, click the X icon .   
    3. In the HIV Test Completion Temperature box, enter the patient's temperature.
  4. On the toolbar above the menu, click the Save icon .
