ProviderConnect File Attachments

Attach files to be associated with a service authorization.

Details

Documents and images can be uploaded and associated with an authorization.

  • Service authorizations that have attached files display  Click the icon to view the attachment.
  • Files of up to 1 megabyte can be attached in this form.

Steps

  1. Select the ProviderConnect File Attach form from the Avatar MSO Membership Management menu.

  2. Enter the client ID in the Member ID field, click Process Search to select. Click Ok.

  3. Enter the provider associated with the service authorization, click Process Search to select. Click Ok.

  • For authorizations select the authorization.
  1. Click Upload File.

  • An Open dialog box displays. Navigate to the file and click Open.
  1. If appropriate, enter notes to be associated with the file. All existing and new notes are listed in the Notes History field in descending order by date and time of entry. 

  2. Click the View button under Notes History to open a separate window with all notes for the attachment file that are filed via ProviderConnect or Avatar MSO. 

  3. Click Store File.

View or delete files

  1. In the Existing Files field select the file.

  2. Click View File to view the file.

  3. Click Delete File to remove the file from the service authorization.
    The file is not deleted from the user's computer.
