Add Treatment - Details Screen

If appropriate, click Review Eligibility Information.
The Eligibility Information screen displays.
The Treatment Details section displays.

In the Duration field, enter the service duration.
Service duration can affect billing for user-defined services.
In the Location field, select the treatment location.
In the Financial Details section, enter the private pay (client copay) amount.
As a client copay is entered, the Billed to field updates.

Selecting a service that was defined as an add-on service code (CPT Code Definition form, Avatar MSO), enables the display of additional fields:

In the CPT Code Definition form, the 'CPT Code Type' is associated with the CPT code.

If the 'CPT Code Type' was defined as 'Evaluation Management':
Select Psychotherapy Add-On to render an additional service. In the ‘Psychotherapy Add-On Duration’ field, enter the service duration.
If during an Evaluation Management service a psychotherapy add-on occurs, the user will check ‘Psychotherapy Add-On’.
Select Interactive Complexity to render a service defined for interactive complexity.
If the 'CPT Code Type' was defined as 'Psychotherapy', or 'Group Therapy':
Select Interactive Complexity to render a service defined for interactive complexity.
If the 'CPT Code Type' was defined as 'Crisis', and the duration of the primary service code was greater than 74 minutes:
Additional services will be rendered, each with a duration 30 minutes, up to the total service duration of the primary service codes.
For example, if the primary service code type is 'Crisis', and the service duration is 120 minutes: the primary service will have a duration of 74 minutes. An add-on service will be created with a service duration of 30 minutes, another add-on service will be created with a service duration of 16 minutes.
In ‘Add-On Notes’ field, enter notes associated with the add-on service.

Note: If the CPT code select is an add-on code (defined in the CPT Code Definition form, Avatar MSO), an additional section displays.

Select the Interactive Complexity field, if the service code is for interactive complexity
In the Add-On Notes field, enter any notes associated with the service.
In the Financial Details section, enter the private pay (client copay) amount.
As a client copay is entered, the Billed to field updates.
