Orders with associated notes display "*" in the Status/Notes field.

  • Orders that require validation display "V". Orders that require validation display in this screen even if the order type has been selected to not be displayed (Client Profile section of the Client Profile / Physicians Orders form).  
  • The Practitioner ID column generally displays the ID of the ordering practitioner. When validating orders, this column displays the practitioner ID associated with the last action (ordering, changing, reviewing) performed on the order. When resuming orders, this column displays the practitioner ID for the reviewing practitioner associated with the corresponding hold order action.
  • Orders that have a status code of VD2 (Discharge (While Validation Req.) or VD3 (Discharge DC (While Validation Req.) will be recognized by the system as being discontinued as well as requiring validation.
  • A status of No RNW means the order cannot be renewed. See the Maximum Eventual Order Duration for Controlled Substances and Maximum Eventual Order Duration Apply to NCPDP registry settings for more information.
