Enter Results Details

  1. To add result detail, in the Add/Edit/Delete Result Detail field, select Add.
    Click Select Header. The Select Result screen displays. Choose the header, click Ok. The Header field displays result header information.
  2. To edit result detail, In the Add/Edit/Delete Result Detail field, select Add.
    Click Select Header. The Select Result screen displays. Choose the header, click Ok.
    The Header field displays result header information. Click Select Result Detail Item. The Select Detail screen displays. Choose the detail, click Ok.
  3. To delete result detail, in the Add/Edit/Delete Result Detail field, select Delete.
    Click Select Header. The Select Result screen displays. Choose the result, click Ok.
    Click Select Result Detail Item. The Select Detail screen displays. Choose the result detail, click Ok.
    Click File Detail Info.
  4. In the Observation ID Code field, enter the code, click Process Search to select. Click Ok.
    The observation code indicates the test that was performed.
  5. In the Observation ID Type field, enter the observation ID.
  6. The Observation ID Value field displays the observation value.
    If no observation code is entered, type the observation value.
  7. In the Observation Abnormal Code field, select the code.
  8. In the Observation Reference Range field, enter the expected range.
  9. In the Observation Result Status Code field, select the code.
  10. In the Observation Value field, enter the value.
  11. In the Observation Value Unit field, enter the value unit.
  12. In the Observation Date field, enter the date.
  13. In the Observation Time field, enter the time.
  14. In the Responsible Observer field, enter the observer.
  15. In the 'Performing Organization' fields, enter the appropriate information.
  16. Click File Detail Info.
    If the result is associated with an order, a To-Do item for the result is sent.
