About medications

The Medications component in Medical Note offers a comprehensive view of a patient's medications, divided into two sections:

Home Medications provide an overview of prescribed and patient-reported medications, with a customizable status filter for Active, Expired, and Pending medications. Client-reported medications are denoted with a 'CR' for easy identification.

Inpatient Medications display active medication orders placed in myAvatar Order Entry. It's important to note that while this section displays the patient’s medication information, it does not support medication ordering. You must use myAvatar Order Entry to place medication orders.
