About the Diagnosis component

The diagnosis section in Medical Note shows both current diagnoses and the patient's diagnostic history. The current diagnoses automatically populate each time you start a patient's note. If the current diagnosis is the focus of the visit and no additional diagnoses are required, no action is necessary in the diagnosis section. However, if the current diagnosis is being addressed alongside a new one, you can select which diagnoses to carry forward into the new set.

When introducing a new diagnosis, you can include additional details such as estimated onset date and diagnosis classification. If necessary, you can also add the diagnosis directly to the problem list from the diagnosis component. Within the diagnosis set, you can modify the billing order and prioritize diagnoses. Saving these changes updates the patient's diagnosis record.
