UMDAP Liability By Family - Cal-PM
Generate an UMDAP Liability by Family report.
- This report contains services rendered to the family members for a report date range, and details outstanding UMDAP liability for each family member.
- UMDAP Liability distribution for open services associated to a family is handled as follows:
- When the services for the family members are in an open state, the system calculates the expected liability that would fall to a particular guarantor based on the previous distribution to that guarantor.
- If all services for all family members are in an open state (No family member has closed services), the system calculates the expected liability under the assumption that all of the allowable UMDAP amount will be used toward a particular client service.
- Once a service for a particular client is closed, this will result in the decrease of the allowable UMDAP amount since no further changes will occur for the service. Closing a service will result in the "correct" UMDAP liability distribution for the remaining open services for all family members.
- A family must be created in the Family Registration form. UMDAP information is entered in the UMDAP Information section.
- A client who is not part of a family should be entered into a family (Family Registration form) to complete UMDAP liability information.
