Service Panel Charge Input - Cal-PM

Post 'panel descriptions' (with their associated service codes) to the client ledger. A panel description is a container that can hold service codes. Panel descriptions are not service codes.

The Client Charge Input and Appointment Scheduling (myAvatar PM) forms are used to post service codes.

Prerequisites:

  • A service panel description must be defined in the Service Panel form.


  1. Go to: Avatar PM > Services > Ancillary/Ambulatory Services
  2. In the Date Of Service field, enter the service date.
  3. In the Client ID field, enter the client name or ID, and select.
  4. In the Episode Number field, select the client episode.
  5. In the Program field, select the client program.
  6. In the Location field, select the service location.
  7. In the Panel Description field, select the panel description.
  8. In the Panel Service(s) field, select panel services associated with the panel description (setup in the Service Panel form). Panel services selected in the Default This Service Code? field (Service Panel form) are selected. The selection can be changed.
  9. Select Display Managed Care Authorization Data to display the managed care authorization for the client, service code, and date of service.
  10. In the Duration (Minutes) field, enter the service duration.
  11. In the Practitioner field, enter the practitioner name or ID, and select.
  12. In the Co-Practitioner field, enter the practitioner name or ID, and select.
  13. When finished, select File Service Panel.
