About 274 File Import - Cal-PM

The File Import form supports six new layouts for adding and editing data:

• 274 Group Definition
• 274 Site Definition
• 274 Site Work Schedule
• 274 Site Languages
• 274 Site Affiliated Entities
• 274 Provider Definition

The product update has not changed how files are imported. Please continue to go through the steps of uploading the file, compiling the file, work errors found in the file and posting the file once it has been successfully compiled. The new file layouts will respect the ‘Import File Delimiter’ registry setting to determine whether the file is comma, tab or pipe delimited.

If Site Specific Section Modeling has been added to the Provider Directory Definition form, those configured required fields will only be evaluated when attempting to ‘Post’ an imported file. The compile will not recognize missing required fields. If an error for missing a configured required field is displayed during the ‘Post’ action, only the rows with missing data will not post. Records that meet all validation will still post.
