Dietary Order

Record special dietary information for a client. This data is for reference only and does not report to other myAvatar forms.

Prerequisites:

• The client must be enrolled in an inpatient treatment program.

1. In the Select Client screen, search for and Select the client by name or ID.
2. If the client has multiple episodes, select the client's episode, click Ok.
3. In the Type Of Dietary Request field:
   • Select Diet Change/Initial Order to request or change a diet order.
     • In the Diet Prescription field, select the prescription.
   • Select Hold Tray, to request a hold on the tray.
     • In the Reason For Tray Hold field, select the reason.
   • Select Miscellaneous Request for other reasons.
     • In the Miscellaneous Request field, select the request type.
4. Enter any additional information as appropriate in the Diet Comments field.
5. Click Submit.
