Program Transfer (Outpatient) - Cal-PM

This feature of myAvatar allows you to transfer a client from one outpatient program to another within an episode of care.

  • The client must be enrolled in an outpatient treatment program.

  1. Go to: Avatar PM > Client Management > Episode Management > Program Transfer (Outpatient)
  2. In the Select Client screen, enter the client name or ID, click the Search button and select the corresponding entry.
    • If there are multiple outpatient episodes, select the appropriate entry from the list.
  3. The Program Transferred From field shows the current program assignment.
  4. In the Date Of Transfer field, enter the date the client is assigned to the new program.
  5. In the Time Of Transfer field, enter the program transfer time.
  6. The Current Treatment Setting field shows the program treatment setting.
  7. In the Program field, select the treatment program.
    • The Allow Admission To File/Edit Pre-Admits registry setting can affect the Program field.
  8. The Treatment Setting, Treatment Service, and RRG fields display information associated with the program.
  9. In the Team Assignment field, assign the client to a selected team. This is similar to assigning a team at the time of admission.
  10. Click Submit.
