Summary Trial Balance Report - PM
You can generate a report that summarizes and ages remaining balances from a date using the Summary Trial Balance Report form. The report ages billed balances and both billed and unbilled balances are included in the report. (Unbilled amounts are categorized as in-house or discharged.)
The report displays:
- A summary of balances by revenue reporting group (RRG) and guarantor financial class.
- A summary of all balances by guarantor financial class
Note: This report is used in the System Reconciliation Equation.

Go to: Avatar PM > Billing > Billing Reports > Monthly Closeout Reports > Summary Trial Balance Report. - In the Summary Balance As Of field, enter the first report date.
- Billed balances on or before this date are included in the report.
- Billed balance age is the number of days from this date minus the claim date.
- In the Aging Category field, enter the aging categories.
- Enter the number of days between the Effective Date field, and the selection in the Aged From Date field. Charges display on the report when they have reached the aging criteria.
- Separate multiple categories with a comma. For example, enter “0” for accounts from 0 to 29 days old. Enter “30” for accounts from 30 to 59 days old.
- In the Include Bad Debt Information field:
- Select No Bad Debt Guarantors to generate a report that excludes bad debt guarantors.
- Select Only Bad Debt Guarantors to generate a report that only displays bad debt guarantors.
- Select Both Bad Debt Guarantors and Non-Bad Debt Guarantor Information to generate a report that includes all guarantors.
- Optional: If you wish to export the report results to a .csv file, select the check box under Export Detail Information to CSV.
- Select Process.

Unbilled Categories
- In-House - Amounts for bed days or unbilled charges while the client was in the bed.
- Disch - Amounts for unbilled discharge charges on day of discharge.
- Days - Number of days in the bed that are unbilled.
Billed Categories
Reflects the aging categories entered in the Aging Category field.
