NRI Event - PM

Record client NRI event data to support the ORYX performance improvement initiative.

• The NASMHPD (National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors) Research Institute (NRI) has created the Behavior Healthcare Performance Measurement System (BHPMS) which is a certified vendor for The Joint Commission's ORXY initiative.

1. Go to: Avatar PM > Client Management > Client Information
2. In the Select Client screen, enter the client name or ID, and select. Click Select.
   • If the client has multiple episodes, the Episode Information pre-display shows. Select the episode and click OK.
   • If the client has previous NRI event records, select the record. Click Edit to change information, or click Add to create a new record.
3. The HCO ID field displays the HCO ID for the client and episode. The HCO ID is associated with the treatment program (Program Maintenance form).
4. In the Event Begin Date and Event Begin Time fields, enter the NRI event start date and start time.
5. In the Event End Date field and Event End Time fields enter the NRI event end date and event end time, if applicable.
6. For the Event Type field, select the event type.
7. In the Event Location field, select the event location.
8. In the Event Modifier fields, select the event modifiers. This list is edited and maintained in the Client file (Fields: 22030, 22031, and 22032) of the Dictionary Update form.
9. Click Submit.
