Medical Necessity Failed Compliance - PM

This report generates a list of clients who did not meet medical necessity rule definitions. Liability will not be distributed for services that do not meet medical necessity rules.


  1. Go to: Avatar PM > Billing > Billing Reports > Ad Hoc Reports > Medical Necessity Failed Compliance
  2. In the Select Client screen, enter the client ID, and select.
  3. In the Include Services Starting field, enter the report start date.
  4. In the Include Services Ending field, enter the report end date.
  5. In the Select Patient field, enter the client name, and select.
  6. In the Select Episode Number field, select the client episode.
  7. Select Process
    Result:The report is sorted by client ID and date of service.
