CE2000 File Transmission

Once CE2000 is set up, it imports myAvatar 's billing file and converts it according to the specified plan, which will be designated by the BIN Number, Process Number, and Plan ID specified in myAvatar . The converted NCPDP bill is forwarded to the appropriate location based on the specified switch information.

If the transmission fails, a file containing the error information is created in the default directory specified by CE2000.

Real-Time File Transmission

1. Start the NDC program to provide a secure transmission over the internet. A highlighted green clover will appear in the system tray when ready to transmit.

2. From the main menu, select Create And Transmit Insurance Claims.

3. On the menu bar, select Import Claims. The Claim Import Templates screen displays.

4. In the Template File Names field, select the template file name to be imported. Click Import Claims.

5. CE2000 will recognize templates using the [...]\IN\*.* directory as a real-time template and begin searching the selected folder for valid files.

6. When a file is found, CE2000 automatically imports it and transmits the claims. The resulting reports are saved for future review.
