837I Claim Data Section

Populate the associated loops in the 837I file.

  1. In the 837I Claim Data table, click Add.

  2. In the Batch Number field, select the batch.

  3. In the Claim Number field, select the claim.

  4. In the Claim Information - 'Loop 2300' fields, enter information to populate loop 2300.

  • If a data element in 'Claim Information - Loop 2300' section is blank, and there is associated data in the in the Funding Source/Contracting Provider Reporting Defaults form (837 Institutional section), the data is included in this form.

  1. In the following fields, enter information to populate the associated loops in the 837I file.

  • If the remaining fields on this section are blank, and there is associated data in the Funding Source/Contracting Provider Reporting Defaults form (837 Institutional section), that data is included in this form.
