835 Defaults Section

Populate 835 files. Fields display the segment that will be populated.

1. In the Provide 837 Claims Rejected Due To Critical Errors On 835 field, select Yes or No.

2. The following information is maintained in the Other Tabled Files of the Dictionary Update form (RADplus Utilities):

• Transaction Handling Code (BPR-01)

• Total Actual Provider Payment Amount (BPR-02)

• Payment Method Code (BPR-04)

• Payment Format Code (BPR-05)

• Depository Financial Institution (DFI) Identification Number Qualifier (BPR-06)

• Sender Account Number Qualifier (BPR-08)

• Depository Financial Institution (DFI) Identification Number Qualifier (BPR-12)

• Receiver Or Provider Account Number Qualifier (BPR-14)

• Payer Identification Code Qualifier (1000A-N1-03)

• Payer Additional Reference Identification Qualifier (1000A-REF-01)

• Payer Contact Communication Number Qualifier (1000A-PER-03)

• Payer Contact Communication Number Qualifier (1000A-PER-05)

• Payer Contact Communication Number Qualifier (1000A-PER-07)

• Payee Identification Code Qualifier (1000BA-N1-03)

3. In the 'Payer' demographic fields, enter payer demographic information.

• Payee Additional Reference Identification Qualifier (1000B-REF-01)

• Claim Filing Indicator Code (2100-CLP-06)
