Alternative Facility Dispensing
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: Multi Facility Dispensing - Validate Clients That Are Guests Display One Time When Searched
Specific Setup:
- There will be two facilities.
- Facility 1 will be the "Home Facility", Facility 2 will be the "Guest Facility".
- Both facilities are configured to allow clients to be dispensed from the other facility.
- The user is logged into Facility 1, the "Home" facility.
- Two clients will exist.
- Client 1 will be in Facility 1. This will be the "Home Client".
- Client 2 will be in Facility 2. This client will be the "Guest Client".
Steps
- Navigate to "Taskbar > Attendance Check In/Out > Check In/Out > Front Desk NX".
- Click "Dispense".
- Validate the facility name on the upper right of the dispensing screen matches Facility 1, the home facility.
- Search for Client 1, the home client.
- Validate the client displays one time in the search results.
- Search for Client 2, the guest client.
- Validate Client 2 displays one time and there is a suitcase icon next to the name.
- Exit the dispensing screen.
- Transfer Client 1, the home client, to Facility 2, the guest facility. This will make him a guest client.
- Redo the client search.
- Validate Client 1, the new guest client, displays one time.
- Validate the suitcase icon displays next to the name.
- Transfer Client 1 back to Facility 1, the home facility.
- Redo the search.
- Validate Client 1 shows one time.
- Validate there is no suitcase icon next to the name.

Scenario 1: Random Events Template - Validate the "Random Events Template" Form Functions
Specific Setup:
- The user has navigation access to "Agency Setup > Other Setups > Random Events Templates > Random Events Templates".
- A new Random Events Template will be created.
Steps
- Navigate to "Agency Setup > Other Setups > Random Events Templates > Random Events Templates".
- Select the "Add New" button.
- Select the "Random Events Template".
- Fill in fields.
- Validate the "Frequency" look up table contains the description "Semiannually" with a code of "6Mon".
- Validate "Minimum Days Apart" is only validate for numbers greater than zero.
- Validate "Minimum Days Apart" is does not allow alpha characters.
- Validate the check boxes function by checking and unchecking them.
- Validate single rules can be added.
- Validate multiple rules can be added.
- Validate menu buttons function.
- Validate saving the form saves the rule.
Scenario 2: Random Alerts - Validate Random Alerts Generate - Semiannually Description
Specific Setup:
- A client will exist that has a medication order.
- The alert that will be generated will have a frequency of “Semiannually”.
- The dispensing queue is enabled in the settings.
Steps
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Random Events".
- Select the client to be used.
- Create a random event.
- Fill the form in.
- Validate the "Frequency" look up table contains a description "Semiannually" with a code of "6MON".
- Select that option.
- Enter a note in that will be easy to find.
- Fill in any other fields.
- Save the form.
- Validate the record created displays on the listing form.
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Random Alerts/Restrictions".
- Validate there are entries for the event created.
- Validate the first record generated, starts withing the first six months of the random start date entered.
- Create a new event of the above,
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Random Events".
- Add a new Random Event.
- Make it identical to the first entry.
- Check the check box for "Clear Previously Randomized Events of this Type for this Date Range?".
- Change the note l slightly.
- Save the form.
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Random Alerts/Restrictions".
- Validate the new records exist.
- Validate preexisting entries are grayed out and have a description indicating they were discontinued due to the creation of the new random event.
Scenario 3: Random Event - Frequency "Semiannually" - Validate Adding "Medication Order Template" Generates Events
Specific Setup:
- A client will exist that needs a new medication order.
- The medication order will use a medication order template that has been configured to use at least one random event that is "Semiannually".
- The "Random Events Template" scheduling rules are known.
- No previous "Random Alerts/Restrictions" exist.
- The client is in the same program as the template being used.
Steps
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Health Information > Medications".
- Select the client to get the new medication order.
- Add a new medication order.
- Select the "Medication Template" with the “Semiannually” event.
- Fill in any other required fields on the medication order.
- Save the medication order.
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Random Alerts/Restrictions".
- Validate the listing displays the event.
- Validate the "start date" is randomized withing the six months from the start of the order.
- Validate the last record randomized has an end date of the medication order used.

Scenario 1: Validate When Client Is Transferred to Another Facility but Still Has an Active Medication Dispense, Can Dispense in New Facility
Specific Setup:
- Logged in staff setup for dispensing.
- Staff can dispense from other Facilities.
- Multi-facility dosing is disabled.
- Program setup for dispensing in two Facilities.
Steps
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Health Information > Medications".
- Create a new Client, enrolling them in the Dispensing program on a past date (e.g., 2 days ago).
- Create a med order for that date (e.g., 2 days ago).
- Navigate to "Taskbar > Attendance Check In/Out > Check In/Out > Front Desk NX".
- Click Dispense.
- Mount required container and search for Client.
- Validate Client displays.
- Dispense the first dose for the Client.
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Enrollment Information".
- Transfer the client to a different facility where that program exists on the following date (e.g., 1 day ago).
- Navigate to "Client > Client Information > Health Information > Medications".
- Create a medication order for that date (e.g., 1 days ago).
- This will automatically end the existing 1st med order.
- Navigate to "Taskbar > Attendance Check In/Out > Check In/Out > Front Desk NX".
- Click "Dispense".
- Search for Client.
- Validate Client displays.
- Try to dispense this Client. Confirm Client displays but Dispense is not available.
- Navigate to "Agency Setup > Other Setups > Turnstiles > Turnstiles Setup".
- Switch logged in user's turnstile to the Client's new Facility.
- Navigate to "Taskbar > Attendance Check In/Out > Check In/Out > Front Desk NX".
- Click Dispense.
- Search for Client.
- Validate Client appears.
- Attempt to dispense this Client. Confirm Client AND the "Dispense" button display and medication can be dispensed.
