TheraOffice Compatibility With Windows Server 2008

Description:

Windows ended Support for Windows 7 in January 2020.As a result of this "end of life" for the software, the security of the operating system has been seriously degraded and the software is susceptible to serious security breaches.

NOTE: Hands On Technology staff is not permitted to make these changes to the server.

Please follow the following Microsoft KB: Update to add support for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Windows Server 2008 SP, Windows Embedded POSReady 2009, and Windows Embedded Standard 2009 (microsoft.com)

NOTE: The following registry keys will need to be made to both:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.1

• DWord: DisabledByDefault = 0
• DWord:Enabled = 1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2

• DWord: DisabledByDefault = 0
• DWord:Enabled = 1
