Manually add visits and charges
Description:
While normally, charges are added to an accounting visit when the note is locked in documentation, you can also manually add visits and charges in the accounting section of the patient navigator. This can be useful for adding cancel/no show fees and you do not wish to utilize DME charges or to change CPT codes after a note has been locked.

Steps:
1) Navigate to the Accounting tab of a patient navigator and select New Visit from the top toolbar.

2) This will open the New Visit window, where you will select a date of service, the case and facility, the discipline of the visit, as well as the Rendering and Submitting Providers.

3) This will create a new blank visit and open it in a subtab on the patient's navigator. From there, select Add Charges to add each CPT code and the appropriate number of minutes. Here, you can also add any necessary modifiers and ensure the POS is correct.
