MIPS Provider Participation Window

Description:

The MIPS Provider Participation Window is a tool used to add your facilities' selected providers into the system as MIPS reporters.

Note: In order to be able to access the MIPS Provider Participation Window, you must have already completed the MIPS Configuration Wizard and chosen to participate in MIPS when completing it.

Applies To:

This applies to clinics who have providers participating in MIPS.

Steps:

Location- The MIPS Provider Participation section is found under the Admin tab. It is located at the very bottom of this section.

The above image shows where to locate the MIPS Provider Participation option in the Administrator menu.

Click on the MIPS Provider Participation section to open it. Once opened you are then able to add in providers to this section.

Note: If you are reporting as a group be sure to add in all providers including PTAs. If you are reporting individually only add in the providers that are participating in MIPS.

Adding Providers- To add a provider into the MIPS Provider Participation section open it and select add provider.

You are then able to select which providers you want to add in.

When you add in a provider it will populate a message informing you that once a provider is added to the MIPS Participation Window, they cannot be removed so make sure that you are adding the correct providers into the section. When you have selected the providers select the Yes option to proceed.

Once this is complete you will need to then select the measure that these providers will be responsible for filling out when doing their documentation. Each of the numbers at the top corresponded with MIPS measures. These can if you click on the number and then hover over them with you mouse it will tell you what each of the number represent.

Once this is completed then the MIPS Provider Participation section is done. This window can be revisited at any point to edit the measures that you have selected for the Providers to report on.
