Overview

Make changes to a document in TIER that has already been Final Saved.

Details

Warning: Netsmart does not recommend making changes to documents that have been Final Saved due to HIPPA compliance and issues with data integrity.

However, if it is necessary to make changes to documents that have been Final Saved, there are two options, described here.

  • Change the save status in the T4W_DOCUMENTS table from final (5) to normal (2). Remove the Final Save signature from T4W_SIGNATURES by using the OP__DOCID as the OP__PARENTID.

OR

  • Request the un-Final Save functionality via a Netsmart Service Agreement to allow users to un-Final Save documents and indicate the reason for the modification, restrict access to users, and so on.
