Staff/Employee Setup

Employee setup in Workflow System enables availability to add employees to groups, provide security access, TMail, and auto populate staff name fields for forms i.e. Inquiry, Intake, Master Treatment Plan etc.1. In your treeview navigate to “Groups and Users”, expand to see “Everyone” right click on on the target security group and select add new user. Enter Name as first name, last name (middle name is optional). Click “Same as Alias”, type alias name (alias will be the username), and select “Server name” same as alias. Last, select the password tab, input alias (username) and signature passwords, server should be blank. Click “Apply” then “OK” buttons.    2. Open the search screen and click on the “Human Recourses” button from the left menu. Before adding confirm the employee does not exist. Search by last name. If the employee does not exist select the add new employee. When performing a search your treeview will open to the Human Resources cabinet and the cabinet letter of the person searched. For example performing a search on Johnson will open the Human Resources cabinet, plus the  “J” cabinet within it. If you select Add Employee your employee at this point will be created in this directory even if the last name is Appleton.      3. After the employee facesheet document opens, input first name, middle initial (optional) and last name. Click Demographic Info from the left menu and input the employee information. Most important complete the “Tier UserID” information at the bottom. Required information for  TIER® Workflow System includes Gender, a valid Hire Date, and the TIER® UserID linked to the user created in security groups and users.   4. Very important, navigate to the “Hire History” button on left column and click on Add Hire Date. This will help assure the new employee will appear on the TMail list. Logout and login as the user.5. If your organization uses the auto-open or Tmail feature, modify the user in the AutoOpen Setup Screen. Choose the correct form to open, select hide treeview for the new employee if applicable.(see attached pdf for entire Tidbit and accompanying screen shots)
