How to set DocWatch Task List
DocWatch is a convenient way to send gentle reminders to staff members about overdue and upcoming work that needs attention. As you create new DocWatches or modify ones that you are already using, you may occasionally run into some trouble. If you are not getting the results you are expecting, you may want to go back and check your Task List.Every DocWatch needs one Task List in order for the T-mails to be sent. You may also have more than one list, which allows you to send a reminder to a staff member and then if need be an overdue reminder to a supervisor. In this example, setting Task List 1 to <50 will send T-mails to the staff members and Task List 2 set to >=50 will send T-mails to supervisors letting them know that documents are due or overdue.(See attachments for screenshots)How do you decide what to enter in the Notification Condition? The number you enter there will be used as the Operator and it refers to the Units Elapsed column in your results list. The example below shows Units Elapsed 22 and 13 in Task List 1 and 411 is in Task List 2.(See attachment for screenshots)When you check your results list, make sure that you see a Task Name or T-mails will not be sent. Check the results below – In this example there is one task list and the first two documents on the list are not included(See attachments for entire Tidbit)
