Rejection reasons window
Path: Administration>Configuration>Clinical>Rejection Reasons
Note: To access the Rejection Reasons window, you need to have the appropriate privileges granted by the Netsmart Homecare administrator.
With the Rejection Reasons window, you can define reasons for rejecting patient's documents (orders, CTIs, and face-to-face documents) if they are not correct and cannot be signed.
When you enter a rejection reason, you must define the level to which it applies (patient or document) and activate to use for the rejection functionality.
- Apply to Patient – Select to make this reason available at the patient level, which rejects all orders, CTIs, and face-to-face documents of the selected patient (for the Reject Patients functionality on Physician Portal).
- Apply to Documents – Select to make this reason available at the document level, which rejects only individual orders, CTIs, or face-to-face documents (available for the Reject Documents functionality on Physician Portal and in the Process Signed Documents window).
The reasons defined in the Rejection Reasons window are available across all organizations and all business units.
