Operators window – Privileges tab

Path: Administration > Configuration > Operators > Privileges

The privileges defined on this tab apply to all Business Units to which an operator is assigned and allow defining Netsmart Homecare, Executive Dashboard, Dashboard (Ad-Hoc Reporting), Physician Portal, and Mobile Homecare privileges. Using this tab, you can also make an operator a member of a group.

The Privileges tab is divided into the following subtabs:

Most of the subtabs of the Privileges tab have the following set of common buttons and columns:

Button/Column Description

Expand All

Select to expand all components and subcomponents listed in the tree view.

Collapse All

Select to collapse all components and subcomponents listed in the tree view.

Allow All

Select to allow all security privileges in the window for the selected operator.

Clear All

Select to clear all selected privileges.

Deny All

Select to deny all security privileges in the window for the selected operator.

Policy Name

Displays the name of the policy available for selection.

Access Type

Displays the available access types.

Allow

Select to grant the operator permission to perform the action specified by the privilege.

If Allow is not selected the operator will not have access to the window or perform the action specified by the privilege  by default.

Deny

Select to deny the operator's permission to perform the action specified by the privilege.

To "deny" implicitly indicates that a user cannot inherit this privilege from another role or group.

In addition, on all of the tabs containing a grid, you can drag a column heading to the area over the grid to group the selected role's privileges by policy name, access type, allowed privileges, or denied privileges.
