Collections Journal – Drill-Downs
Path: Reports>Financial>Collections Journal
The drill-down subreports are generated only for the claims where line item posting is enabled.
- The (Click on any line to see detail) phrase in green on the primary report indicates that you can view the drill-down subreport with the payment and adjustment status for the patient.
- If the drill-down report does not appear after clicking the line and the "There are no details to display; all payments and adjustments have been posted at the claim level" message is shown, it means that all information is already specified in the primary subreport.
The drill-down report always shows
- patient's name
- claim ageing
- start and end dates
- charge date and type
- Document Control Number
- total net amount of a claim
Depending on what page of the Collections Journal report you clicked drill-down line, additional information may be displayed, for example for the Payment Detail drill-down, the payment date and type are reported along with standard claim information.
