Reports on Physician Portal
Physicians use the Active Orders, Clinical Data, and Care Plan Oversight reports to review patient information and also track time spent on overseeing patient care.
Active Orders report
The Active Orders report shows the patient’s diagnoses, visit frequency, interventions, clinical notes, general clinical items, and medications (including medications on hold).
- On the Select Patients tab, select the patients.
- Select the View Active Orders tab.
- Use the Next and Previous links on the right to go through the selected patients.
- If needed, print or save the report using the PDF toolbar.
Clinical Data report
The Clinical Data report shows the last ten readings for each clinical data category in the Vital Signs, Measurements, Labs, Spirometry, and Scales sections as recorded in Homecare. Clinical data are shown graphically in trends and as line items sorted chronologically starting from the most recent date. For each line item, you also can view its source (assessment, entered manually, and so on), attributes related to the readings, and the reading notes, if any. Sections without readings are not shown.
The items are shown only in one unit of measure. For example, if nine recent readings for temperature are in Celsius, and the tenth is added in Fahrenheit, then you see only the last reading.
- On the Select Patients tab, select the patients.
- Select the View Clinical Data tab.
- Use the Next and Previous links on the right to go through the selected patients.
- If needed, print or save the report using the PDF toolbar.
Care Plan Oversight report
With the Care Plan Oversight report, physicians can track the time that was spent overseeing the patient’s care plan on the Physician Portal. The report shows patients whose documents were reviewed and signed during the last three months and also the current month. The data are grouped per day.
For each patient, the report shows the time when the review started, the activity and time spent on it, and the total time spent for the patient. You also can view the patient’s primary insurance and patient class active on the date when the documents were reviewed.
Activities on the Physician Portal are divided into two categories:
- Active Orders, Clinical Monitoring, Clinical Notes – Time spent reviewing the reports and clinical notes accessed from these reports as well as general time spent on the Select Documents tab.
- Orders, F2F, CTIs, Clinical Notes – Time spent reviewing documents, adding or reviewing clinical notes on the Review Documents tab, and signing documents.
To generate the report, select the View CPO tab. You can save or print the report using the PDF toolbar.
Note: The time may be approximate if you do not log out through the menu.
