Patient Care Team Window

Resource>General>Patient Care Team

The Patient Care Team window identifies the patients who are assigned to a resource and the type of this assignment. For example, if you select Case Manager in the Type column, then the selected resource is the case manager for the selected patient. If a resource has more than one associated role, each role appears as a separate tab.

You can also specify patient care team in Patient>Clinical>Care Team. If you enter the care team here, they appear in the Patient component and vice-versa. Patient care team appear on the patient's face sheet.

Note: Care team types are defined in Administration>Clinical>Care Team Types.

Entering Resource's Patient Care Team

1.

In the Resource component, select the appropriate resource.

2.

Select General>Patient Care Team.

You must already have added the resource's roles before completing this window.

3.

Select the appropriate role tab.

4.

Click  to add a row or  to insert a row.

5.

Complete the fields as appropriate.

Help is available for each field within this window by pressing F1 while in the field.

6.

Click Save.

 

Deleting Resource's Patient Care Team

1.

In the Resource component, select the appropriate resource.

2.

Select General>Patient Care Team.

3.

Select the appropriate role tab.

4.

Select the row you want to delete.

5.

Click  to delete the selected row.

6.

Click Save.
