Manage your password on Physician Portal

Change and reset your password for the Physician Portal for Netsmart Homecare.

Change your password
  1. Select Password Vault.
  2. Enter your current login password, and then click Unlock.
  3. Select the tabs depending on the password level that you want to change:
    • Change Login Password – Enter a new password and reenter it in the Confirm New Password field.
    • Change Signature Password – Enter your old password for electronic signature, then a new one, and reenter it in the Confirm New Password field.
  4. Select Update Password.
Manage hints and security questions

Defining questions allows you to reset your password on the Physician Portal without contacting your system administrator.

  1. Select Set Up Password Security.
  2. Enter a password hint. The hint is sent to your email if you forget your password.
  3. Select security questions and add answers.
Reset your password
  1. On the Login page, select the Forgot your password? link.
  2. For validation, enter your user name and any of the active emails specified in Homecare.|
    Note: The password hint is sent to the specified email.
  3. If you recall your password based on the received hint, select the Return to the Login page link and log in.
  4. If you still do not remember the password, select the Reset the password link.
  5. Answer the security questions and select Submit.
  6. Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  7. If needed, select the Reset Signature Password checkbox and change the electronic password information in the appropriate fields.
  8. Select Submit.
  9. Select Continue to go to the Physician Portal.
