Manage bereavements for resources

Path: Resource>General>Bereavement

You can add, edit, and delete a bereavement for a resource.

1. In the Resource component, select the appropriate resource. [Opening Existing Resource]
2. Go to General>Bereavement.
3. Perform one of the following actions as appropriate:
   1. To add a bereavement:
      1. Click the Add New tab.
      2. Complete the fields in the Bereavement Window as appropriate.
      3. Save your changes.
   2. To edit a bereavement:
      1. Click the appropriate tab.
      2. Make the necessary changes.
      3. Save your changes.
   3. To delete a bereavement:
      1. Right-click the tab for the bereavement you want to delete.
      2. Select Delete Bereavement.
      3. Save your changes.

Note: You cannot delete the bereavement for a resource if a resource is associated with a patient in the Family & Friends window of the Patient component.
