Manage Resource addresses
Path: Resource > General > Address & Phones
To delete an address
- Right-click the applicable tab
- Select Delete Address.
Important: If you delete the address tab, all the existing phone numbers from this tab will also be deleted. You cannot delete a default address.
To add a new address
- In the Resource component, select the applicable resource. For more information, see Open existing Resource.
- Go to General > Address & Phones.
- Click the Add New tab.
- In the Description box, enter the description of the address, such as Home or Work.
- If you do not enter a description, this address is considered the resource's home address.
- In the Address 1 box, enter the house or building number and street name.
- In the Address 2 box, enter additional address information such as a suite or apartment number.
- Enter the city, state, and ZIP CODE associated with this address.
- If the address is in a country other than USA (including possessions) or Canada, select OT - Other and complete the field that is displayed on the right.
- If needed, mark this address as active. If multiple addresses exist, you can select a default address.
Note: Only active addresses are used for mailings. If you do not want this resource to receive mailings, clear Mailings. - Enter an e-mail address.
- If you use the Automated Communication Engine functionality, enter your mobile phone e-mail address in the Text Message field.
- Save your changes.
(Optional) To use the United States Postal Service Standards for addresses
- Select Administration > Configuration > Business Units.
- In the left pane, select the appropriate business unit.
- On the Basic tab, click Settings.
- Click Administration
- Select USPS Standards
