Manage Resource addresses

Path: Resource > General > Address & Phones

To delete an address

  1. Right-click the applicable tab
  2. Select Delete Address.

Important: If you delete the address tab, all the existing phone numbers from this tab will also be deleted. You cannot delete a default address.

 

To add a new address

  1. In the Resource component, select the applicable resource. For more information, see Open existing Resource.
  2. Go to General > Address & Phones.
  3. Click the Add New tab.
  4. In the Description box, enter the description of the address, such as Home or Work.
    1. If you do not enter a description, this address is considered the resource's home address.
  5. In the Address 1 box, enter the house or building number and street name.
  6. In the Address 2 box, enter additional address information such as a suite or apartment number.
  7. Enter the city, state, and ZIP CODE associated with this address.
    1. If the address is in a country other than USA (including possessions) or Canada, select OT - Other and complete the field that is displayed on the right.
  8. If needed, mark this address as active. If multiple addresses exist, you can select a default address.
    Note: Only active addresses are used for mailings. If you do not want this resource to receive mailings, clear Mailings.
  9. Enter an e-mail address.
  10. If you use the Automated Communication Engine functionality, enter your mobile phone e-mail address in the Text Message field. 
  11. Save your changes.

 

(Optional) To use the United States Postal Service Standards for addresses

  1. Select Administration > Configuration > Business Units.
  2. In the left pane, select the appropriate business unit.
  3. On the Basic tab, click Settings.
  4. Click Administration
  5. Select USPS Standards
