Generate bereavement mailing workflow

- Create the bereavement letters, labels and envelopes in Reports>Letters>Define Form Letters.
- Set up the bereavement mailing schedule and attach the appropriate letters to the levels of bereavement in Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Settings>Bereavement.
- Enter the resources (family member, personal care giver, etc.) who should receive the bereavement letters in Patient>General>Family and Friends.
- When the patient dies, enter the new status in Patient>General>Admissions & Status.
- For each resource listed in Family & Friends, enter the appropriate risk score in Resource>General>Bereavement.
- Print the bereavement mailing. See Generate bereavement letters, labels, or envelopes.
The appropriate letter prints for each resource listed in Family & Friends, based on each resource's risk score and level of bereavement.
For additional information on ReportBuilder, please refer to the Report Builder Tutorial located on the Netsmart Homecare server in the ReportBuilder folder. To run the tutorial, double-click the LearnRB.exe file. This will enable you to install the tutorial on the client workstation. Windows 2000 and/or NT users need to have administrative rights to open the Report Builder Tutorial executable file on the workstation.
