Enter caregivers and other contacts for patient

Path: Patient > General > Family & Friends

1. Open the Patient component.
2. Select a patient.
3. Select General > Family & Friends.
4. Click Insert Row.
5. Complete the fields in the new grid line.
   1. Note: Help is available for each field within this window by pressing F1 while in the field.
6. To search for a resource, click the ellipsis in the ID field of the grid line. The Find Resource window opens.
   1. To add a new resource, click the new icon  in the ID field of the grid line. The New Resource window opens. You can only add new resources if you have the appropriate permission.
   2. Resources are also added to Netsmart Homecare in the Resource component.
7. Click Save.
