Define regular visits

Path: Patient>Clinical>Visit Frequency>Define Visit Frequency Parameters

To define the visit frequency parameters for regular visits, set the low and high number of visits, low and high visit hours, type of the duration period, and the number of such periods.

Note: Depending on the discipline settings, the Hours section in the Define Visit Frequency Parameters dialog can be unavailable so you do not need to specify hours for a visit.

Depending on the number of visits needed for a patient, you can select among the following types of duration periods:

Type Duration period

Day

To plan a certain amount of visits for a patient for a period specified in days.

Month

To plan a certain amount of visits for a patient for a month period.

Week

To plan a certain amount of visits for a patient for a week period.

Every x Days

To plan a visit for a patient that will occur once per "x" number of days for the specified number of periods.

Define "x" in the High box of the Visits section. In the For box of the Duration section, specify the number of such periods which must be a multiple of the "x".

Every x Weeks

To plan a visit for a patient that will occur once a week for the specified number of weeks.

Define "x" in the High box of the Visits section. In the For box of the Duration section, specify the number of periods which must be a multiple of the "x".

Every 30 Days

To plan visits for a patient during 30-day or 60-day period.

The calculation of start and end dates of the visit frequency periods for the regular visits is based on the administration settings and their parameters, which are defined in the Administration>Configuration>Clinical>Visit Frequency. For more information, see visit frequency calculation details.
