Create mailing labels

Path: Query > Reports

  1. Open the Query component.
  2. Select Labels > Resources List.
  3. Click the new icon.
  4. The Report Wizard window opens. Select the Label Template radio button.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the Resources List radio button for your label data type.
  7. Click Finish
    The Label Templates window opens.
  8. Select the label type in the Products panel (i.e. 5160) and then click OK.
  9. In the Report Designer window, click the rich text box icon.
  10. Click in the white space. 
    A text box labeled "RichText1" appears.
  11. Drag the sides and corners of the text box to size it to fit the window.
  12. Right click in the text box and select Edit.
  13. In the window, type {print_letter_address}.
  14. Click on the X on the top right corner of the screen.
    Click Yes to save changes.
  15. In the Report Designer window, select File > Save.
  16. Enter a name for your label in the Item name field.
  17. Close the Report Designer window.
  18. To run your labels, double-click on the label’s item name in the Query window tree view.
  19. Double-click the appropriate List.
    The Preview window opens showing you how your sheet of labels will appear.
  20. Print the labels.
