Associated Resources

Associated Resources Window

Resource>General>Associated Resources

The Associated Resources window is designed to manage the associations of the selected resource. For example, agency can add employer, manager, group practice member, emergency contact, spouse, child, and others to the list of the resources related to other resources using the Associated Resources Tab. With the Associated To Tab, it is possible only to view the resources' associations.

The Show Inactive check box selected by default on both tabs allows you to view also inactive associations. You can sort the associated resources by effective date and resource name by clicking the corresponding column name.

If resources are shared, all associations are available in the shared Business Units as well.

The Associated Resources window is available in Host Mode only.

Associated Resources Tab

Using the Associated Resources tab, you can manage the resources' associations. A relationship has an effective date and optionally an end date when this association is ineffective. You cannot assign the same resource with the same relationship within specific time period.

This tab contains the following fields:

Show Inactive – Select to show inactive items.

Effective Date – Enter an effective date of the association.

Resource ID – Enter the ID number of a resource that you want to associate to the selected resource.

Resource Name – View the name of the associated resource based on the entered resource ID.

End Date – Enter an end date for the association. This field is optional.

Associated To Tab

Using the Associated To tab, you can only view the resources that added the selected resource (the resource you use to open the Resource component) as their association.

This tab contains the following fields:

Show Inactive – Select to show inactive items.

Effective Date – Displays an effective date of the association.

Resource ID – Displays the ID number of the resource that associated the selected resource.

Resource Name – Displays the name of the resource that associated the selected resource.

Relationship – Displays the relationship that the resource assigned to the selected resource. For example, if an agency adds the selected resource as an employee, you can see it in the relationship column.
