Add attachment

Path: Patient > General > Attachments

Prerequisite

  • You must have the Patient Attachments privilege enabled in Administration > Configuration > Operators > Privileges [Business Unit]. Access privileges apply to the window functionality and not to the attachments themselves.
  1. In the Patient component, select a patient from the dropdown menu.
  2. Select General > Attachments.
  3. Select Add Row and complete the following substeps:
    1. In the right panel, select Browse and navigate to the appropriate attachment.
      Note: Valid attachment types are PDF, RTF, TIF, and JPG.
    2. For Display Name, enter a name to associate with the attachment.
    3. Modify Attachment Date if needed. This defaults to today's date.
    4. For Category, select the appropriate attachment category from the dropdown.
    5. For Admission, select the appropriate admission date from the dropdown.
  4. Select File > Save Attachments.
