Add attachment
Path: Patient > General > Attachments
Prerequisite
- You must have the Patient Attachments privilege enabled in Administration > Configuration > Operators > Privileges [Business Unit]. Access privileges apply to the window functionality and not to the attachments themselves.
- In the Patient component, select a patient from the dropdown menu.
- Select General > Attachments.
- Select Add Row and complete the following substeps:
- In the right panel, select Browse and navigate to the appropriate attachment.
Note: Valid attachment types are PDF, RTF, TIF, and JPG. - For Display Name, enter a name to associate with the attachment.
- Modify Attachment Date if needed. This defaults to today's date.
- For Category, select the appropriate attachment category from the dropdown.
- For Admission, select the appropriate admission date from the dropdown.
- In the right panel, select Browse and navigate to the appropriate attachment.
- Select File > Save Attachments.
