Sending On-Demand Order Reminders

With the On-Demand Order Reminders window, you can send immediate reminders to the physicians who have orders waiting for their review. If you need to send a reminder to the physician that belongs to a certain group practice, you need to select this group practice (because all reminders for the physicians belonging to a group practice go to the same group practice e-mail address).

For each physician and group practice, you can see the number of pending orders, the date of the oldest order, e-mail address, and phone number. After selecting the recipient, you can modify the default subject and body of the reminder.

To send immediate order reminders:

1.

Go to Transactions>General>On-Demand Order Reminders.

2.

From the View drop-down list, select either Physicians or Group Practices.

3.

Select a particular physician or group practice to which you want to send reminders.
To find the needed recipient faster, you can filter the orders by the number of days they are waiting for review.

Click Send Reminder.
The Send Reminder window appears displaying the e-mail address of the selected recipient, default subject and body of the reminder. You can modify the text of the reminder if needed.

5.

Click OK.
The message appears notifying that the reminder has been sent.
