Search for an item

Note: You can search for many items within Homecare, such as patients, resources, medications, and so on. The fields where you can search for an item contain the ellipsis button.

1. Put the cursor in the field where you want to search for an item.
2. Click ... to look for an item.
   1. The corresponding Find window appears.
   2. For example, if you are working in the field where you need to enter a medication, the Select Medication dialog opens.
3. Complete the fields in this dialog as appropriate.
4. Click OK or Search to start the search.
5. View the displayed results.
